Economics

The Annet-sur-Marne plant produces, on average, 105,000 cubic meters of water per day. Its production capacity, in the plant's present form, is 130,000 m3/day. The plant supplies some 50 districts in the region and has around 100,000 registered customers (1), which equates to around 500,000 people in the region. Its main customer is Charles de Gaulle Airport in Roissy, which consumes 5,000 m3/day. The supply network has interconnections with neighboring water plants in order to be prepared for any eventuality. Thanks to the plant's automated control, it employs 13 people who between them provide a round-the-clock on call service.
