The Annet-sur-Marne water treatment plant is located halfway between the Roissy business park and the new town of Marne-la-Vallée, at the heart of its distribution area and away from risks of flooding.

The raw water is taken from a non-navigable meander in the River Marne. The proximity of the Jablines water sports center ensures back-up supply in the event of a pollution incident on the Marne.
