Chlorination-dechlorination

The chlorination-dechlorination units consist of two 4,000 cubic meter underground tanks with valves controlling the quantity of chlorine required to meet the water's chlorine demand and to remove ammonia. After two hours of contact with chlorine, the water is dechlorinated with sulfur dioxide to remove the chlorine taste.
