Sedimentation and filtration

Six tanks are used for sedimentation of the floc resulting from pretreatment and 14 are used for filtration. When the filters become clogged, they are washed automatically by a counter-flow of pressurized air. The room is also equipped with hydrocyclones that recover the settlement sludge and recycle the microsand that is then re-injected into the sedimentation tanks.
